Just so-so...
My husband is receptive to some anal play, so we decided to try the simple design of Dr. Joel's Prostate Massager to see if it was something that would appeal to him. Let me start by saying that out of the box, this toy feels well made in your hand and the vibrator offers a nice variety of speeds. However, the hard plastic material it’s made out of makes it nearly impossible to maneuver with lube as part of the equation - it is far too slippery. Also, I literally could not turn the vibrator on once we finally got it inserted. The twist control on the vibrator simple stayed put under my lubed fingers; a push button operation would have been much better. Also, my husband found the size of the bulb and the fact that there is no taper to it, to be difficult to take. For us, this toy was more aggravating and frustrating than enjoyable. Not for us.

Can be improved for better spontaneity
My husband and I like anal play, especially when it involves prostate stimulation. First, I would have to agree that there should be an indicator, something that shows which way the bulb is angled because once it’s inserted, it’s hard to tell. Second, I have found it difficult to turn on, since it involves twisting. When there is always lubricant involved, twisting can become a tricky maneuver. A push button on the bottom would be easier. These two things proved to be somewhat of a distraction in the spontaneity of sex. We have realized that we prefer less rigid, more flexible anal toys so they are comfortable in ANY position. One surprising little fact, when still inserted during intercourse, it turned his penis into a vibrator, and that was a win-win for us!

OK
The massager is one of those products where you think it's going to be one thing, but it kind of falls short. Well, that's how this product felt to me. My husband is very "particular" when it comes to anal play time. So, I thought that if he didn't want the massager for himself, maybe I would get a kick out of it, wrong. The Prostate Massager is a very small vibrator, so my husband did allow the massager, but it was very noisy and it doesn't pack much of a punch. We thought that the saying "good things come in small packages" was going to come into play with the massager. We were expecting a bigger outcome than what we got, so that was a big let down. Even I tried the toy and I understood where he was coming from. You have to insert it the way you want it to touch you and keep it there, and it's very hard because once it's inserted, you don't know which way it it going inside of your partner and that can be pretty uncomfortable for your partner.

Nice starter...vibe
We didn’t know what to expect or experience with the Dr. Joel Kaplan’s Prostate massager as my man is very guarded about his anal play. This toy is sleek and slender and made of hard plastic and it inserts easily with lots of lube. It is a multiple speed vibrator that is easy to control on the base. Clean up is a snap as it is waterproof a big plus with any toy. The tip of the massager is angled for maximum stimulation and pleasure. This sleek massager does hit the prostate sweet spot for the guys in short order and can also double as a g spot stimulator for the ladies. Just remember to give it a good cleaning before using it as a dual toy. The noise level on this toy is medium to low once it is inserted. It is a very nice little toy for the men to start with. Not into it
We got this anal vibrator because she wanted to see if she'd be interested. She was not. the vibrator was very strong, she just wasnt into it once it was inserted. we used it to warm her up stimulating her clit, then teased her anus with it, but once inserted she didnt like it as much. we lubed it up a bunch and she said it didnt hurt, it just didnt do anything for her sexually. in fact, she said it was comfortable due to its slender shaft, so thatd be a plus for anyone interested. Given that she didnt sexually enjoy it, we probably wont be using this item very much anymore. we have other vibes for stimulating her other parts, so we dont need it for that. but if you wanted an all in one vibrator, the power of this anal vibrator will hit the spot! the curved tip could easily hit the g-spot if thats what you are going for. plus, this item is waterproof!! you cant beat that for fun!! although she didnt enjoy, i hope you all do!

Perfect for the timid and first timers
Dr. Kaplan’s Prostate Massager is great to use in a pinch. The small diameter makes it nice to use quickly without having to warm your self up. I had high hopes for this toy but it failed to hit my spot after multiple attempts. The vibration adjustment provides a very slight variation in intensity, so it’s either intense or not. However, the small diameter makes it perfect for newbie’s and G spot stimulation. My wife enjoyed the massager more than I did, especially since the curved tip makes it easy on the wrists for clitoral stimulation. I wish there was a grip on it so you know if the tip is pointing up or down. For the price it’s worth knowing if this product works for you. ~ The Joneses

Sleek and Slender
This little vibrating massager didn't offer me the pleasure I was expecting. I thought the orgasm would be more intense but it didn't take me to where I thought it would. The vibrating feature did offer stimulation however to the point that ejaculation started before penis stimulation did. Personally, I expected more than I experienced. Noise wise, I didn't think it was that loud, giving it a 4 on a 1-10 scale. As far as a G-Spot stimulator, we felt it could have been a bit larger in the head.

Much Better Than Anticipated
I have to say I was impressed with Dr. Joel Kaplan's Prostate Massager. It stands about six inches insertable, as big around as a roll of dimes, and the tip is about as big as an unopened almond. Needless to say, with a little lube, this toy is easily insertable, even for more timid people. With as petite as this vibrator is, I thought it wouldn't do the job. I thought wrong. Being a man who enjoys a little booty play from time to time, my wife and I have tried several prostate massagers, from small to large. Personally, I prefer them larger. In my experiences, the vibrating ones typically work better if they are a little bigger, but the motor in the Kaplan's massager is quite powerful. It is totally waterproof as well, which means it is good to go in the bedroom, shower, or wherever. This also means that cleanup is a snap. My only complaint is, there is no indicator, mark, or notch on the base of the shaft to let you know if you have the angled tip up or down. There is way too much guesswork involved in playing with this toy. If you lose track of the placement, you have to wiggle and twist it to figure out which way you should turn it. That being said, I couldn't give it a perfect score, as it does leave a little to be desired. I do recommend this toy to anyone who is new to the anal play game, who is looking for something small and easy to tuck away somewhere, or to a couple who just wants to experiment a little. It is fairly inexpensive, and worth far more than the pricetag.

It Really Hit The Spot
This product is hard plastic so it is easy to add firm pressure and move it exactly where you want it. It is pretty noisy outside, but once inserted it is just a low hum on the highest setting. It is also waterproof making clean up with soap and water very easy without fear of ruining it. It has an angled head, which really makes it easier to reach around corners. The shaft being about ½ inch in diameter goes in easy. The different speeds are easy to control with its twist end. I recently learned of the great pleasure I get from prostate stimulation. This toy has jumped to #1 on my list. With some Better Sex Essentials Gel lubricant it slipped right in and away I went. I used it while masturbating and I have never ejaculated as fast as I did with this toy. I recommend it for beginners who have never tried, or are new to prostate stimulation. But the seasoned pro would enjoy as well.

Dual use vibe
When I got this I thought "hey even if my husband refuses to let me try this on him I can still use it". It is moderately noisy maybe a 6 on on a scale of 1-10. This prostate massager is more powerful that the G-Gasm vibe a 9 out of 10!!! It is smaller so it is harder to find the right spot in me. It worked pretty great for him as well after teasing around the anus he allowed me to lube it up and go in! Perfect contact!
