Dark City

Ava Rose stars as Molly Breathless the scorned wife of porn legend Ron Jeremy’s crime boss character Big Boy Mahoney. Molly’s yearning for retribution over her husbands’ cheating ways finds her walking through the door of private eye Nick Caprice played by Tommy Gunn. The attention to detail spent on the cinematography isn’t quite matched by the acting performances yet the quality of sex is spot on. Dark City is a couples’ movie from start to finish and there is a very good attempt at plot and story development. We felt that this movie may be unfairly compared to mainstream cinema quality given how visually stunning not only the movie but the packaging is. There is a nice variety of good sex scenes including boy-girl, group and interracial. There’s a dash of anal and double penetration in this movie but not rough enough or to the extent that it takes Dark City out of the typically milder couples’ genre. A&E included some very nice quality Bonus scenes from other A&E features on the Bonus Disc that are well worth checking out. Our bottom line is that Dark City is a well produced couples movie that pushes the edginess envelope just enough to keep things intriguing.

Wow, what a cast! Tommy Gunn and Ava Rose are amazing! They’re two of my favorites though so what can I say? Dark City is a detective type movie about murder and sex. The bad guy being played by Ron Jeremy. That’s right, THE Ron Jeremy. If that hasn’t sparked your curiosity then let me tell you, the sex scenes are hot! The lighting and angles are fantastic too! We definitely didn’t become bored with this one and will watch it again simply to see those hot scenes again. It’s perfect for couples and the strong plot should make it a great choice for those just getting into watching porn. The second disk is loaded with extras too and includes some hot bonus scenes from other productions. They’re definitely worth a look for sure! If you like a story with your porn, especially detective stories, then you’ll be pleased with this one. I know we are so we’re giving it five hearts!

Dark City is a very well made film, done in the old style P.I. movie format. This movie has a defined plot, great costumes and sets, as well as lots of sex. The various scenes got us going all through the film. There is the usual fun twist in the plot at the end that P.I. movies always have. If I could change one thing in this movie it would be the 3 way lesbian scene as it never really got hot, the women just didn’t seem to be into it. Overall though, I would recommend this film for any couple looking for an entertaining adult film.

Do not waste your time with this movie. The scenes are boring, slow plot, very bad acting (but it is a porn), costumes were ok, lighting of very old school. Scenes were very cheap and seemed like very much an old B rated film. Not very exciting at all. Not to mention who wants to see Ron Jeremy anymore. One seen he actually belches in a girls face and says, "smell that, that is the smell of money." The first sex scene the girl is so noisy, I had to turn the volume all the way down. None of the sex scenes really got my wife or I going, we ended up turning the movie off half way and putting in a different film.
