Nina Hartley's Advanced Guide to Oral

I have numerous instructional DVDs from Better Sex, including several on oral techniques and I still learned something new. In brief, the lighting, sets and actors are lovely to watch. The first hour is broken into segments devoted to a specific subject re: male/female anatomy, hand techniques, massage and oral techniques. The pace and information is good, and while Nina is talkative throughout the scenes, there are plenty of tight camera shots and close ups. The hand puppet demo (female genitalia) is wonderfully funny and the segment showing cunnilingus through cellophane is downright nasty! Communication between partners are encouraged throughout each segment, as well as having fun and experimenting. The last half hour or so is the ‘party’ – Oh my goodness. To date, the sexiest and longest orgy scene I have watched in years. The action wasn’t cut up, with rapid and confusing shots. The editing was more as if you’re there, at the party and was glancing around. Numerous cameras, wider angles and of course, hot intercourse. Three women, three men – hands and tongues everywhere…I’m not normally a fan of orgy scenes and I had to ‘leave’ the party several times! Who says learning can’t be a turn on?

This DVD taught my husband how to touch me in ways that I could not have explained. I liked the fact that this was a hands on educational DVD that was extremly tasteful. This DVD taught me how to perform oral sex on the "hubby" like I have never done before and watching the look on his face and the enjoyment in his moans was priceless. I am so glad we watched this movie, it has definitely spiced up our bedroom pleasure. It goes into hands on detail for the male and female genitals. Nina explains why and how to touch along with a hands on demonstration with each step. There is just as much time spent on the male as on the female. She also has a hand puppet vagina that is detailed to help with explanations. By the time we got to the orgy part of the movie we were touching each other and didn't really pay attention. We watched it another time and although we are not into that it was pretty good and tastefully done.

Overall this movie can be considered slow at some points. We consider this a movie for beginners to oral sex only. Nina showing the puppet vagina was for our taste somehow ridiculous. We have seen better instructional videos on oral sex such as Better Sex movies, The Art of Oral Sex or Tristan Taormino’s movies all of these sold by Better Sex. This movie seems to be shot in the early 90’s, so we consider it kind of old. If you are a fan of Nina, well don’t hesitate on buying it because it includes an orgy that is so arousing. This orgy was exciting to watch for me, but not for my wife. I assume because men are more visual for those kind of things.
