1. Who is eligible
Any adult from “the lower 48” states is eligible to enter the Better Sex Couples contest. Since we have a “fly to the filming” component of this contest we are limited entries to adults citizens of the United States who live in states other than Alaska and Hawaii.

2. Finalists
We review all submissions and may select up to 20 finalists.

3. Submission Deadline is Tuesday March 31st: Entries must be received before the submission deadline to be eligible for the grand prize.

4. Grand Prize
As many as 5 couples may be declared Grand Prize winners and be invited to a long weekend at a world-class spa. Time in front of the camera shouldn’t be more than a few hours. The rest of the weekend will be “free time”.

5. Voting
We may publish materials to our web site and ask for a community vote to help determine Grand Prize winners.

6. Privacy, Security
We protect the real names of people who submit materials to BetterSex.com. Please provide a “pen name” we may use when referring to you. This “pen name” is what we will use except on legal documents.

7. Ownership
Materials submitted to Better Sex Spokes Couple Contest become the property of BetterSex.com. Entering the contest is a waiver of rights to material in the submission. BetterSex.com agrees to the limited use of the materials as described here (play on BetterSex.com for community voting). Any further use of materials provided would require another more complete release form.

8. Story Length Guideline
There is no minimum or maximum length for the Better Sex Spokes Couple contest.

9. Only Original Stories
Entrants must submit original unpublished stories of growth and change created by The Better Sex Video Series ® or any other adult sex education dvd by The Sinclair Institute.

10. Legalese
The Better Sex Spokes Couple contest is a contest of skill and presented as entertainment. It is not a sweepstakes and is void where prohibited by law. Authors agree that BetterSex.com and its parent company are acting in good faith, have outlined in detail how author’s intellectual property will be considered and published on our Learn More page Only stories with signed 2009 Limited Release will be published so no damages can occur.

Authors must only submit original unpublished work and, in so doing, authors agree to fully indemnify BetterSex.com and its parent company to any and all third party claims relating to an author’s submission. (This sentence means if you crib a story, present it as original and we publish it we will refer the complaining lawyers to you.) BetterSex.com and our parent company cannot be held liable for stories that are lost or that can’t be opened. Judges decisions are final. BetterSex.com can change these rules at any time and for any reason. (We don’t plan to change the rules, but if we need to comply with a federal or state law we will.) Submitting a story to the Better Sex Spokes Couple Contest means you’ve read, understand, agree to and will abide by these rules.
