A Better Sex Definition: AIDS-Related Complex is the stage in AIDS in which a person tests positive for HIV antibodies and has a lowered T-cell count, but does not show symptoms of the disease. Most people with AIDS-Related Complex develop the symptoms of AIDS, but some do not. These individuals are the subject of extensive study in ongoing AIDS research.
