Customer Reviews - Solar Bullet

Not overpowering.

stejes on April 2, 2014

I was surprised by the amount of vibration that a "green" powered toy could provide. I didn't have a big expectation of this toy after seeing it. The charging pad is about the size of a smaller iPad or a drink coaster, along with being only about 1/4" thick. The bullet is you average size bullet, but it has a smaller flashlight on the end of it. It does allow for your partner to see what they are doing in the dark in close quarters, but not bright enough to see long distances. The power coard from the charging unit to the bullet is about 2.5' long. I would have liked it to be a little longer, but I made it work. It takes about 8 hours to fully charge the unit with direct sunlight and that powered the bullet on high for almost an full hour. I was impressed with the lasting power of a non battery operated bullet. The vibrations did not overpower me even on high, but they were strong enough to get the job done. Being it is a very quiet toy, it would work well in close quarters on vacation or where you needed to be discreet. Overall, I liked it, just need to remember to charge it.

Going Green with Solar Power

Clearance & Candy on April 14, 2011

We picked this for our emergency it’s the end of modern civilization tool kit. I know I’ll still need a great buzz to get me off, even if I can’t get batteries or electric. We couldn’t have picked a better bullet than the Solar Bullet which arrived fully charged-just my luck-WOW-it’s buzz is strong! I set it on my windowsill and was so surprised by the power of the one speed, push button bullet buzz. Great investment! We used it in so many fun ways you can only imagine. It’s great for foreplay, wonderful during intercourse and strong enough to help finish me off. I highly recommend the Solar Power Bullet not only for its going Green technology, but also for its amazing power in a Solar Green unit. Friend us on Facebook!

A good backup vibrator

Empty Nest and Loving It. on January 9, 2011

More than just a novelty, this little vibrator has the power and adjustability of battery powered vibrators. The bullet has a detachable 2.5 ft cord that plugs into a solar charger/controller. The charger has a slide switch for intensity adjustment. It's cool that the bullet disconnects from the charger so that you can just leave it anywhere to charge without worry of discovery. I like the LED on the end of the bullet. I've used it to locate other toys and lube bottles that always get pushed to the other end of our play area and under pillows. For us, the value in this vibrator is that it is a backup for those times we forgot to load fresh batteries and don't want to stop and go hunting for them. We've just left the charger in the bedroom window sill and it HAS saved us from a "low battery" situation. If you want to go green, what better way to limit battery usage? P.S. I was sorely tempted to give this in our annual Dirty Santa Christmas gift exchange in the guise of a solar powered flashlight.

Save On Batteries

Miss Kay on January 7, 2011

The Solar Bullet is actually a pretty neat toy. I've never had a solar-powered item, so I thought it'd be really amazing to give the Solar Bullet a try. The solar panel is about the size of an iPod but very thin. There's a little control switch on the bottom of the panel that will change the strength of the vibrations. For being a vibrator charged by the sun, it gets up pretty high in strength. It is kinda buzzy though, but most women should be okay with getting off with that vibration strength. There's a little blue light on the side of the panel that lights up to let you know the panel is receiving sunlight correctly. It does take eight hours for a full charge, but that will last sixty minutes. When you consider that all you have to do is just throw this on a windowsill and no one will be any wiser, eight hours isn't that much. Plus, the bullet portion unplugs off of the Solar Panel, so it will just look like a little iPod. For some odd reason, I was surprised to find that the bullet comes with a little flashlight on the end of it. I have no idea why. I'm still trying to figure this out. The little flashlight isn't amazingly powerful, but if you were playing with your partner in the dark, it would help you see things better. The bullet is actually pretty quiet - it could barely be heard in the same room, and there's no way it could be heard with the door closed. I'd definitely recommend this bullet for people who have to be discreet since there's no need for a charger or batteries. Instead, you can just slip the panel onto the windowsill, and if someone says something, you can just say it's an "eco friendly" battery to charge your cell phone or something. Overall, the Solar Bullet is actually a really nice toy. It's not amazing, but it's a basic-features bullet that will help you save on batteries.

A different twist...

Sexy Love Birds on April 19, 2010

The solar bullet isn't going to revolutionize the bullet sex toy design but it is very well could revolutionize how we power our toys. The solar panel is no larger than a coffee cup coaster and maybe about a ¼" thick or so. The bullet and charging cable disconnect from the panel, so you don't have to leave the whole toy laying out near a window or anything. There is an LED indicator that shows when the panel is charging if you have any doubt so you know you have a good light source. The bullet itself is multi-speed with the controls being on the solar panel. The vibration power is good and she thoroughly enjoys this toy. We felt good having fun with the toy and knowing we weren't wearing down another set of batteries.
