Lelo Mia

I never thought packaging would mean anything to me, but Lelo does packaging so much better than anyone else that it makes a huge difference—it implies unprecedented quality and elegance. Inside their wonderful packaging, there it was, a glossy pink USB flash drive, shaped like a tube of lipstick—or so it appeared. The innocuous shape and being able to charge it with my laptop intrigued me since I first saw it advertised. I plugged it into my laptop’s USB port and, in just two hours, it had stored up four hours of bliss. The tapered cap end did nothing for me, but then, duh, it’s just a cap covering the USB connector. The bullet end, though, delivered wonderfully. I thought I’d start out by sliding the Mia over my nipples for a few minutes on a steady buzz at speed two, but the feeling was so very, very pleasurable that it soon moved south, seemingly on its own, until it found my clitoris. Not wanting this to end too soon, I moved it away from my clitoris and ran it up and down both sides of my labia for several minutes still on the steady buzz but now on its highest speed. Oh, my stars it was intense! There was a slight whiny buzzing, but certainly nothing to be heard in another room or at a reasonable distance in the same room. I tried each of the pulse modes upon shifting focus back to my clitoris, but switched back to steady buzz for the splendid finale, then dropped back to speed one for the afterglow. Exquisite! One of my favorite features of the Mia and my Nea is the control lock—press the plus and minus buttons simultaneously and it locks the controls so that they cannot accidently be turned on in your purse, which, incidentally, is my Mia’s home. The lock-feature also adds to its discreet nature since only another Mia owner would suspect it’s anything other than a “girlie-pink” USB flash drive.

Since the first time I saw this toy I have been in love with the Lelo brand. They appear to make high quality long lasting items, in elegant packaging. I adore rechargeable toys and this one is so discreet, quiet, I can charge it like my Ipod, looks like lipstick and comes with it's own storage bag OMG of course I had to have it. Well, when My pink Mia arrived it was everything I thought it would be and more. Let me just say that there is nothing wrong with this vibe. There is nothing and I mean nothing I would change about it and I NEVER say that. It is perfect as is. Mia is made of plastic and silicone, it has a glossy smooth texture, and is phthalates free. A two hour charge delivers 4 hrs of play. Mia has +/- buttons which control its power settings. It has 4 vibrating modes and 3 pulsating modes. But honestly it felt like more! By holding both buttons down for 5sec you can lock your toy and not have to worry about it turning on while you travel! I would suggest washing Mia with warm water and antibacterial soap and never using silicone lubes with it. Using Mia was very easy. It is a great toy for nipple play, labia and ball message and if you are careful and won't get carried away rimming. First of all I love the design of this little vibe, it is very discreet. I can literally toss this into my purse or makeup bag and it could EASILY be mistaken for a tube of mascara or lipstick! I found that the tapered end is where the majority of the vibration is concentrated, although it does transfer to the flat end. The tapered end provides fairly intense vibration, and it excellent for direct clitoral stimulation. The flat end disperses the vibration evenly and is less of a "pin point" and is great for massaging to vulva and other erogenous zones. Clean up is easy if you are careful seeing that this toy is NOT splash proof or waterproof...you need to use a toy wipe or a damp cloth to clean it. I did not like that it isn't waterproof, I would definitely like to take this to the shower or bath:( I also LOVE the fact that you can recharge it, and through a USB port! The controls are simple and easy to use, although I did have a bit of trouble scrolling through vibrations and vibration modes while using it the toy. On the highest vibration setting it can be pretty loud. I found that if you are creative this toy has quite a bit of versatility from a solo toy, to a foreplay/couples toy!!!!
